Cardwell playing TE for the Desperados just caught his 1st career touchdown pass.

About three plays later he forces a fumble that resulted in a safety.

Evan is a scary, scary man. Sitting the stands, watching him rumble in for that TD was fantastic, then seeing him force the safety was awesome as he's pointing to the fans and I'm assuming members of his family, too. A lot of his plays saw Evan getting very, very close to that QB...not really for a sack, but a lot of pressure. He's putting his hands up to try to block passes, making smart moves to get the QB.

And on offense, he makes some very nice blocks, many buying Dolezel time in the pocket. And of course- taking the ball in was just as awesome.

I think he's proving his worth to the 'Rados.

Nothing like a mad Hippo on the prowl.

It really was a great game to go to. With his work over the past 2 weeks (and all year during practice), he earned himself a spot on the front page of their website. Apparently, they bred all-out practice mentalities up here, as articles on Brad Kassell have also mentioned.

I love the 'revvin' nickname. I really hope they can find snaps for him when the whole team is healthy.
