Seems that Dallas Baptist applied for and failed to become a CUSA baseball member. Who woulda thunk ?

"They applied to enter as a baseball school only," said Palmer, one of three coaches who voted to allow the Patriots' entry. "I'd vote for them again."

The proposal was turned down by a 6-3 vote during a fall meeting of the baseball coaches and never was forwarded to the board of athletic directors or the conference for consideration.
