i always loved the matt pinto/ bob ortegel combo. they were mavs fans and they couldn't hide it! i hate more than i like. i HATE the phil simms team on cbs, the espn crew with theisman, and definitely bill walton!

I pretty much only watch football....

Good:

Mike Tirico

Keith Jackson (yeah, he's old)

Kirk Herbstreit

Troy Aikman

Chris Spielman

Annoying for various reasons but credible:

Mark May (his pants go crazy for Reggie Bush)

Mike Gottfried (sounds like he has a mouthful of marbles)

Bill Curry (received a vocal chord transplant from a 4000-year old mummy)

Terry Bowden (his dad once told him, "When I get home, I'm gonna punch yo mama in the mouth.")

Bad:

Musberger

Anybody on CBS

Musberger

Terry Stembridge

Good to have another fan of the OLDTIME San Antonio Spurs.

One thing you can't overlook about Brent Musberger is the fact that he is at least interested in whatever game he is calling. Opposed to MIke Gottfried who always seems to have just been aroused from his nap , or Rod Gilmore, who is sure every team is overated unless it happens to be a California team. Then there are all those extras the networks use that were perfect when they played .

The great Terry Stembridge , before the Spurs there was the Dallas Chaperrals , then the Texas Chaperrals that split time between Dallas, San Antonio and Lubbock.

" there will be another day "

Also don't forget Dick Risenhoover the orginal Texas Rangers announcer.

Well, if we're going back to bygone days, give me the old SWC announcer Kern Tips.

gotta love the Jub.

The Jubenator is #1 !!! The "Do you believe in the Mean Green" line is one of the all time greats (ok - a little bias built in to that comment).

I also think Craig Way does a good job on the Longhorn's radio network.

I used to hate Joe Theisman, but he's grown on me somehow.

"Palmer looking to Hendricks for the sign......here comes the 2-2 to Spencer.....it's a fly ball to deep right center, Blair's on his horse, it's way back....and you can tell it goodbye"

might have been a call from a Baltimore-Texas game in '74 or so

for NFL, as a kid I always liked Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen on NBC doing the AFC game of the week, usually involving the Raiders, Dolphins, or Steelers.
