Man, I somehow forgot to mention this one. We've been working on it for a while, but it's quite a coup for us, imho and others too.

James camping at UNT

The University of North Texas pulled a major coup Tuesday when it was announced Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James will hold a basketball camp for boys and girls at its campus this summer.

The camp, scheduled for June, will be for kids ages 8 through 18.

"It's going to be fun," James said before Tuesday's game against the Mavs. "I feel like I should help kids with the ages from 8 to 18.

James will be assisted by coaches from around the country and celebrity guests.

I had courtside tickets at the Mavs Caveliers game a while back and I poked LeBron in the side when he chased one out of bounds. I like to feel partialy responsible for his success for loaning him some of my mojo... I lost it somwhere and I figure thats where it went.

This is a great coup but didn't we have a Shaquille O'Neal camp at North Texas when Shaq was just as hot as Lebron is now? Did all of that great talent in Denton do us any good regarding recruitment?

I hope that this time is different.
