You may be right, but without seeing him, I'm going to exclude him along with the incoming freshmen from the two deep right now. I'd think there could be as many as six freshmen on the two deep this fall, and I'd say Loren should garner playing time as well from his credentials.

DT Tim Patton 6-2, 303

OT Kelvin Drake 6-3, 280

CB Rob Gordon 6-1, 170, 4.6

Ath Chris Neal 5-6, 162...special teams kick returner

Would be interested in comments on these 4 and on who the other two freshmen that might help next year.

Based totally on what I saw in the recruiting videos, combined with reputation and gut feeling, I have good feelings about Patton, Drake, Gordon, Kendrick Ridge, Esteban Santiago, and I have a weird premonition about Kale Krider.

Out of those guys, the first three are in a seperate class from the second three. But any, all, or none of them could be what I think they'll be. All guesswork at this point.

My feeling about the freshman class coming in is that the numbers will be small, but that those who make it will be real quality and will make contributions early. In other words, they'll either be stars (all-conference quality) or busts, with not much in-between.
