My eating plans just changed for that day. It would be nice to see these two events combined some year (say the scrimmage start at 7:30pm and some advertising about it put in the Coliseum (huh?!?). The President's Council also has a function at the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Love Field that night. I wish everyone would coordinate on their calendars!

The Denton Kiwanis Club is planning the 17th annual Taste of North Texas for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 9 at the University of North Texas Coliseum.

Tickets cost $8 for youths, ages 6 to 17, and $12 for adults, and are available at a number of locations, including the Denton Chamber of Commerce, Wells Fargo Bank, First State Bank, Northstar Bank, Texas Bank and the Denton Bicycle Center.

Thanks for letting us know about the annual Taste of NT 80, I wouldn't have known about it if not for your post.. For what seems like the 15th or so year in a row I'm scratching my head why we cannot AGAIN have this event include an athletic event. We used to. Why can't we.....AGAIN? I'll just never understand what it is that fills the day, every day, that makes this, among other basic needs, the impossible.?
