sure is... i'll post one up later this afternoon or this evening.

Thanks. Tell your supervisor in the Athletic Dept. thanks.....oh, you don't work for the Athletic Department do you?

It's amazing to me that the department doesn't provide this, doesn't have daily practice updates on the website and doesn't utilizing the Spring, actually late winter, Game as a vehicle to market the program with a meet the team, pick your season tickets, meet the coaches, etc...

BIG opportunity missed to gain some Mean Green fans. We must have enough?

Too many missed opportunities. A little later in the Spring and I'd be up in Denton watching the scrimmages and eating Adler's BBQ. laugh.gif

Hard to market something that is on a Thursday night at 6 pm, now if it was on a saturday that would be a different story.

Tomorrow is a Saturday.  Still, no marketing or any reference to any spring football event.

UNTLifer was refering, or at least I think he was, to the actual spring game which is on a Thursday night. Scrimmages really only appeal to the die hard fans since there is no flow to them and it's basicly just glorified drill practice.

True. They could switch the spring game to a Saturday, like tomorrow then just a scrimmage on the last day Thursday. Many 1-A schools make a big deal about their spring game and promote the upcoming season and start selling tickets and merchandise. Our spring game is attended only by player's parents, player's girlfriends, GMG.com readers, or joggers that just wander into Fouts. blink.gif

Thursday or Saturday, does it really matter? For reasons beyond my comprehension, the NT athletic department fails year after year after year to take advantage of prime promotional opportunities. There is absolutely no excuse for this.
