In case you were wonderring...hehe

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Girls

GreenBrigadeDebbie:

Positives: Great team attitude. Catches the ball well. Runs good short routes and blocks well.

Negatives: no downfield speed. Plays as if she wants the guys to catch her?

Hope24 -Ashley :

Positives: Good throwing skills and can catch. Most versatile female athlete on the board.

Negatives: Slow 40 time. Scouts believe it is an upper-body weight issue, but refused to elaborate?

TwoDollarPistol:

Positives: Who cares if she can catch…she is seriously HOT.

Negatives: don’t waste your time here…just refer back to the positives!!!

Guys

Illuvius32 :

Positives: Catches the ball very well in traffic, and isn’t afraid of bigger defenders.

Negatives: runs bad routes and can be jammed at the line. Scouts believe he should remove the red backpack before he enters the field. Illuvius only responded with “I can’t take it off?, I keep my stash….I mean Vitamins, in here”.

GreenNwalin'sVet :

Positives: Football player with great hands and runs solid routes. Scored a receiving touchdown in GMG Bowl.-I.

Negatives: Lives in South Texas and still thinks that smell is from the ocean? Not an MIT candidate.

FireFightinRick

Positives: Lives and breathes football. A rookie receiver with good knowledge of the game. Has faced multiple security personnel at one time and emerged victorious…a true gladiator.

Negatives: No axes or hoses in this game...without the green helmet he is a mortal and has weaknesses. Exhaustion and loss of awareness possible in second half. Expect a great attitude, but have bottled oxygen on the sidelines.

RadioGreen

Positives: An all-around athlete with the ability to play multiple positions. (Line, receiver, back) Once swam the English Channel …well, England Texas.

Negatives: Once gave up football to pursue his acting career. Couldn’t make a living saying “What the hell is a Jigawatt????” Football skills may be rusty.

Emmitt01

Positives: Pure speed and athleticism. Probably the most skilled athlete in the draft.

Negatives: Talks more smack than TJ Covington. Once attended a Deon Sanders Fantasy Camp. Sanders was quoted as saying “Man, did I talk that much scratch when I played? Compared to that guy, I was a freaking saint out there!!”

Zeke

Positives: a ferocious defender who plays the pass better than most seasoned DB’s. Is a play maker with great field vision.

Negatives: A pharmacist by day, and who knows WHAT this guy will take before kickoff. Plan for a few minutes to get him “off of the big chicken” and back into the huddle.

Medpilot21

Positives: Ex football player with nice field vision and a good throwing arm. Finds targets and delivers the ball quickly.

Negatives: Some of those targets are on the other team. Was picked off in last GMG Bowl by Zeke. Med’s only comment was “I never saw Zeke over there, but what the heck…as long as someone catches it.”

TeachinTodd

Positives: a relative newcomer to the GMG Bowl arena. Skills are not known, so surprise factor could be huge.

Negatives: a complete unknown, and no combine numbers to use. Start this athlete off at center, and hope he doesn’t face GreenBrigadeDebbie…she’ll tear him up.

MeanGreenDork

Positives: blazing speed and great route running. A multi-sport athlete who can get open and finish off a route. Speed kills.

Negatives: A small receiver who would have difficulty shedding a defender at the line. This receiver could get wide open, or wildly broken. Suggest using him as a “home-run” hitter, and leave the meat-and-potatoes routes to others.

Coffee and TV

Positives: An athlete who has demonstrated his ability to play hard nosed defense and get his hands dirty. A blue-collar defensive player who stands his ground and plays tough.

Negatives: Slow foot speed makes for a long offensive day. Not bad in goal line situations, but would be better suited for deep snapping roles

.

BeanCounterGrad03

Positives: A veteran of the GMG Bowl series. Shows good running ability and is always around the ball. Once told Emmitt “you can’t run by me, scrub!”

Negatives: Let Emmitt run by him. Foot speed is good, but has difficulty recovering from a bad play. Teammates said they heard him on his cell phone requesting the play be reviewed upstairs? Upon being advised there is no instant replay and we had no upstairs?, BCG immediately called his agent and fired him.

Pierow2

Positives: A bigger bodied athlete who is a flawless blocker and possesses great hands. An accomplished receiver and scores in the red zone. Husband of TwoDollarPistol, and will receive an additional game check for getting her out there.

Negatives: Difficult to use if playing from behind with seconds left on the clock. Deep routes are not his thing. An above-average center, but the QB must yell “Bud-Lite” to get the ball snapped. Confusing for the other offensive players.

UNT 92 Fan

Positives: Receiver with extreme play-making ability and dedication to getting the ball. An option player who can throw or catch on any given play.

Negatives: This basta…. uh, player looks for contact and could draw penalties for interference or unnecessary roughness. Sign him, but let the opposing coaches know they will need an ambulance at some point in the second half.

Harry

Positives: The founder of the GoMeanGreen.com message board. A player who will rely on his background to get him through this game. A player who is loved by all and will be watched by everyone on the field.

Negatives: The last time Harry played organized football he was 18, and the game has changed a little since then. As one of his former teammates put it, “Harry had serious skills, but I doubt he can still throw that sixty yard deep. I would look for him to throw the ten yard deep, and hope someone comes back for the ball.”

Effin14

Positives: no track record on this athlete. Must be an import from Holland.

Negatives: There is no American Football played in Holland?

gregorythegreen

Positives: great screen name, and probably a great player.

Negatives: There is no track record for this player in games past. Throw him a pass…if he drops it, he blocks.

rhaprez03-04

Positives: Last year’s GMG-Bowl II White team MVP! This player has it all. Size, skill, and is a legitimate pass rusher on the defensive line. Credited with over ten QB pressures and one QB sack.

Negatives: None… this is as complete a player as there is. Put two men on him and hope for the best.

Forevereagle

Positives: Another unknown athlete who should excel on the gridiron.

Negatives: No football track record for this athlete. Scouts think he was playing another sport when the bug hit him to test his pigskin skills. Welcome to the big time.

Adman

Positives: A long time supporter of UNT athletics and Alums. This player has shown his stuff in many of the GMG functions and showed up well.

Negatives: No negatives to list. A true team player and all around good guy.

UNTFan23

Positives: A well educated athlete, and has an above-average understanding of the game. Would make a fine analyst one day.

Negatives: Today is not that day. He will take the field as a wide receiver or defensive back. Could be a long day for this player. Will succeed if a zone defense is used, and he has help deep. Or, leave him alone out there…but make sure you turn him every 10 minutes so he doesn’t get burned on the same side every time.

UNT Playmaker

Positives: good speed and reads the opposition well. Seems to know where the ball is going on most plays and can downfield block.

Negatives: Not sure where his best position is. Could play receiver, could play running back, or could play the line.

KingDL1

Positives: An every-down player that will protect the Quarterback against the pass rush. Also plays very solid on the Defensive line, which is his specialty.

Negatives: In crunch time, would need him to be more of an offensive threat.

Rudy

Positives: a pure pass rusher, who will obliterate the offensive line protection…no matter who is in the way. A sure pressure specialist who will make the opposing QB scramble.

Negatives: This player has an occasional temper and can become frustrated on the field. His coach should warn the opposing players when Rudy goes in. The coach might also notify GreenBrigadeDebbie.

Bryan316

Positives: A friend of Hope24, and longtime board member. Brian is looking to make his name in the game this year. We will put him on the fastest receiver out there and give him his dream shot.

Negatives: the look we will get after giving Brian his dream shot. Oh well, you never know until you try…

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was all meant in good fun. We will have a great time at the game. Thanks for the emails..I'm glad everyone is so into this thing this year!!

GMG!!!
