3-4

I was just looking at this years recruiting class and the number of D-linemen signed. Did we know at that point that we were going to run a 3-4? In this defense the d-line is the most important part, as you need big bodies in there. Big bodies to stop the run, and take up blockers to allow the LB's to roam free. If you look at this years DL we have alot of serious size here, and not just at DT. In the 3-4 you need big d-ends. And in this years class we have D-ends who weigh between 235-255. The switch to the 3-4 changes the make-up of this class for the better, I believe.

Does anyone else think that this move will help NT in recruiting? As the players needed to play DE and OLB are more specialty than needed in the 4-3. Allowing Nt to go after those players deemed "tweeners". To big for LB and yet not big enough for DE. Or to big for DE and not big enough for DT?
