I want to think he was ineligible, but I don't know. Was he a rotation guy in '05. If so, why is getting so many rave reviews this year. Stronger, more time in the system, not injured, WHAT!?!?!?!

He had a very serious form of heatstroke that basically kept him out the entire year. He has won our scout team defensive MVP two seasons in a row. He chose UNT over BYU and was a high school championship wrestler. If he continues to improve he will be a big impact player on the defensive line this season.

He redshirted the year before so he will be a 3rd year soph this season.  He has won our scout team defensive MVP two seasons in a row.  He chose UNT over BYU and was a high school championship wrestler.  If he continues to improve he will be a big impact player on the defensive line this season.

After a redshirt year in 2004, it was believed that Isaac Thomas would be the second coming of Booger Kennedy last year. During the two-a-days of August, Isaac suffered severe dehydration and never did recover. He had another full year in the system and time to build his body back. So, his success was again exspected if he were healthy and apparently he is.
