Rick Gosselin tease on Patrick Cobbs

Rick Gosselin is a writer for the Dallas Morning News who covers the NFL. In his online chat today the moderator added this note to the end:

"Moderator - Ted Gangi: Rick is out of time today. Look for his column on the 10 best players NOT at the combine this weekend. UNT's Patrick Cobbs is among them. "

I'm not sure when it's coming out, though. Keep an eye out for it!

[edit - when I said "I'm not sure when it's coming out" I meant I don't know if it'll be Saturday or Sunday as it obviously states that it's coming out this weekend. Nice cover, uh? ]

this should be a good article. maybe with enough exposure some NFL teams will take notice and take a late round flyer on PC???

Years ago I had very close inside connections with the Cowboys (married into family) and knew how they would arrange with certain players that they would be drafted in later rounds. It was all kept secret (I knew this from the team's corporate pilot and others.) Don't know if they still do that but wouldn't be surprised. Some were even "clued in" before they graduated college!
