The Offensive Coordinator is kept in a booth for a reason. He can only mess up the play calling on the phone, but if we were able to turn him into a department store manequin....we could put him at JC Penney at Golden Triangle Mall, then get someone on the staff who will not attack a loyal alum on Ramon's way down the stairs (Fouts' version of a stationary escalator).

Just a thought. A dumbass thought, but neverless...a thought.

IMHO DD's fate rests in RF's hands on the "phone" this year.

UNT = #110 out of 117 D-1A teams this year & possibly #125 - 140 if you count D-1AA teams that are better that us. This is not bragging rights for a university that places so much emphasis on education and virtually no emphasis on athletic performance of its staff.

Wear a raincoat with cap so that after you say loudly, "We are being outcoached!" you won't get spit on. Comments like that only "hurt" when it's true. Calling plays isn't "rocket science." But a sense of humor doesn't hurt if you're brave enough to call a Draw play on 3rd and 15. Someone needs to explain the theory of "3 and out."
