I don't know, but imagine needing to go to the bathroom while waiting for all 30K people to get set and in place.

In my infinite boredom here at work (yes, on a Saturday ) I researched the photographer (Andrew Mole) and found out that he did 8 photographs like this (Liberty Bell, Eagle (I think), portrait of Woodrow Wilson, etc.) during the 2 years after WW1. I think it would be interesting to see all 8 of them.
