UNT can't solve jinx in dome

North Texas finished with its second-lowest point total of the season and shot just 29 percent from the field in a 77-58 loss to Louisiana-Lafayette in Lafayette on Thursday.

The Mean Green (12-8, 5-4 Sun Belt) has dropped all eight games it has played against the Ragin' Cajuns at the Cajundome.

Lionel Brown was the only UNT player in double-figures with 11 points. Michael Southall and Chris Cameron each had 15 points for Lafayette, which had lost seven of eight coming into the game.

The Ragin' Cajuns (6-14, 2-7) used an 11-0 run early in the first half to take a 15-8 lead and never trailed the rest of the way. UL-Lafayette led by as many as 27 in the second half.
