Another one to watch this morning is Kimball's Phillip Tanner. Last night he told the Denton Record-Chronicle's Brett Vito that he was going to sleep on his decision and that North Texas was high on his list.

Vito reports North Texas doesn't have a running back yet, while the other schools in the running, Tulsa, Houston and Middle Tennessee State, do, so UNT has a major shot at getting Tanner.

Today's Fort Worth Star-Telegram lists him as having commited to North Texas. If true, it is a good pick up for us.

Can media influence a kid at the last minute? It couldn't hurt. If a kid is really undecided maybe if the town's paper calls he will think they really want him bad?

I was worried that we were not going to even pick up a RB. And then at the last second we end up with 2. I would have preferred 1 RB and another OL. But hey I'm pretty happy with this.
