Edwards starting to come alive.

It is good to see true freshman Harold Edwards starting to come alive. I was a little worried at first b/c he was our highest rated recruit but he wasnt playing much. I think he showed the other night that he is a very good athlete and I think he is going to be good, looks like a good sign. I am becoming more impressed with last year's class. Lionel Brown has been solid and has hit big shots, Stewart to me is going to be really good, he has great upside, and Howerton showed the other night that he might turn into a very nice player, I think there is a reason why A&M wanted him. So no matter what some might think, the talent is getting better around here.

One thing Edwards needs to work on is his outside shot, and his mid range game for that matter. He has yet to show that he can make anything outside the lane. His future is at the 3 spot, and he has shown ball handling ability but not shown his range. That said, his play was one of the few bright spots the other night.

Cooley,

Is there anything positive in your life ? Maybe you need a role model or a hug or something. Hopefully one of these days JJ will recruit all the players that you want and they will be as good as you want and they will go 36-0 and win the National Title. Maybe they should hire you to recruit, there's a thought.

If that was everyone playing great, the confrence must suck big time because I don't believe Hines scored and he was 2nd Team All Confrence.

Cooley, maybe you can chill out a little. He didn't say "everyone" played great. He mentioned 3 players that he felt were improving. Not everyone who has a positive thing to say about some aspects of the program thinks that "everything" is great or that JJ is doing a fantastic job right now. There is a middle ground.
