I am a little confused with the regional thing.

The Sunbelt Men's team berth plays in TN, at least that is where the bracket on ESPN.com puts last year's winner, LaLa.

Is this the same if another team wins the conference and for this season?

Using this same line of thinking, I looked up the women's bracket and it has last years' winner, MidTenn played at Reunion Arena right here in Dallas. So, if our women were to get the berth, would they take that slot and play at home?

So I guess my real question is, how do they determine where these games are played and is there any bit of a chance that in the 1st round of the tourny we might get a chance to watch the game from somwhere close? OKC, Houston, Dal, Austin?

You have no way of knowing until the brackets come out where ANYONE plays. Conferences are not "assigned" a site beforehand or anything. The Bracket Selection Committee selects that along with the seedings and pairings.

The three years WKU was in the NCAAs from 2001-2002 we played in New Orleans, St. Louis, and Indianapolis.

The only location that should be on the minds of fans and players right now is Murfreesboro, TN.

Hey, Galojay thanks for the info. And, yes, I am getting a little ahead of myself, I guess the Sunbelt berth runs through Murfreesboro.
