I remember seeing a deal on ESPN about KU students and how they camp out at the feildhouse the few days before the game. I beleive it said that every student organization on campus is required to have at least one member of their organization on "watch" at the Allen Fieldhouse in the days leading up to a home game, .

It showed pictures of students sleeping in the hallways of the feildhouse and doing the "changing of the guard" it was pretty cool.

I know this is a little different than what we have here, but maybe we can steal this idea and add it to our collection of stolen ideas from other schools.

If you go to meangreensports.com a little promotional Pop-up add comes up with promotions for the next 2 games. Tonight is $1 hot dog night, and Saturday, if you are a Season Ticket Holder for football, you get buy one get one free game tickets.

Didn't somebody on this board suggest something similar not too long ago?

They are listening.......or coming up with stuff on their own, but wither way I like it.

They tried way too late to get the OK for adult beverages, and did not get the permit. I mean it takes too much effort for them to start planning stuff say in October or Novemeber.

You would think, but perhaps this goes back to last minute planning.

Although, I dont imagine it could take much more than a $150 and that arduous drive from the Pit to the Sack and Save to load up a truck with several cases of cokes and bottles of water. Perhaps I am missing something?

Yes, the people on this board are the first to think of such ground-breaking promotions as dollar hot dogs and free tickets. Keep up the good work you morons.

Maybe you could suggest another crazy idea like in game music or perhaps a mascot. I'm sure they are monitoring this thread closely - waiting for the next big idea from the 18 people who whine all day and donate nothing.
