We have Sooners and Jayhawks which refer to cheaters and outlaws .... so why not? The "Arkansas State Moonshiners" sort of seems appropiate. Another possibility would be "The Fighting Cockroaches" which many people find more desirable than "Spiders" (Richmond) or Rattlers (St. Marys in San Antonio).
