If anyone is interested in finding out more about the legitimate Independent candidate for the Texas Governor's race......60 Minutes is doing a profile of Kinky Friedman, which will air Sunday January 22, at 6 p.m. (central time) on CBS.

The NFC Championship game starts late on Sunday (5 or so). So, if anyone wants to see 60 Minutes (and they want to watch that game).....I'm giving you all a "heads up" to either have a videotape or Tivo ready for 60 Minutes.

Or I guess, you could tune in to the start of 60 Minutes, see what order the segments are in, and turn over to 60 Minutes at the appropriate time.

Like always, a great piece by 60 minutes. And when they did the story Strayhorn hadn't even defected yet, so they kept referring to it as a 3 horse race. Its even more nuttier if its split 4 ways.
