A true idea of Branding

Isn't Fouts field named after a real estate developer? Just curious.

If Fouts was named after that RE company (it isn't), it sounds a lot better than "Movie Gallery Stadium", or "Gallery Furniture Field" or any other random company name inserted. If the company name had a person's last name, that'd make it easier to stomach, but to be honest, if we had to sell off to get the stadium built, it'd be fine with it.

Money is money. If we are to get the new stadium built we need it, whether from a corporation or a private donor. Do we have any Boone Pickens types that went here? Who are some of our more prominant wealthy alum? Boone stated that he doesn't know much about football yet he dropped 160 mil. I dont see how we can't find someone to drop a good lump of change into the stadium.
