Did you guys hear the announcers continuously bag on the Sun Belt officials during the game? I thought the bit about the game being too fast for the officials was really amusing.

During the Citrus Bowl the announcers were complimenting the SBC refs.

From the commentary I've heard on the last play of the game, ALL of the officials bungled, not just the refs. There were at least 4 penalties that weren't called on that last play, and it probably should've been a replayed down.

Listening to the Dan Patrick Show on ESPN and they were really ripping the SBC refs for the Alamo Bowl.

Just makes this conference look more and more like a glorified 1-AA conference.

Until the SBC teams start showing otherwise, it is a glorified DIAA conference.

I agree, andI don't really know what to add, other than until most of the schools get better OOC results, no matter what we do, the perception will still be out there that this is a crappy conference. SO the question might be - how long can we really be happy here?
