I did not realize this, but both DeMario Thomas and Desmon Chatman were listed on the Kilgore College Athletic roster:

I could not find any playing statistics on either...not even sure if they played.

That's Dasmond Chatman not Desmond...Dasmond is Desmond's twin brother from Conroe.

Desmond is at UNT and redshirted this year.

Demario is not listed in the stats of the Southwest Junior College Conference for 2005 so it doesn't look like he saw the field. Not sure if he was injured or not.

Maybe he redshirted and could come here next season with 4 years of eligibility left.

But that hasn't been our luck lately, has it?

If he redshirted this year, he would play there in 2006, and then he would have 3 years of eligibility when he came to North Texas. One season he would be playing with his brother, and then the spotlight could be his for two years.

Time will tell, but it sounds like a good plan.
