My personal rankings of off-season need are:

1) Interior D-line (Need beef. Chris Miller is a class act, and a very dedicated player, but he got pushed off the ball a lot this year. Isaac Thomas has the best potential of the group, but will he play to that potential? Who knows?)

2) Offensive Line (Sure we need beef, but perhaps even more important is getting SMART O-linemen. Guys who know their assignments and keep their wits about them.)

3) Tight End (Poor blocking from this position a MAJOR reason we didn't get on track offensively this past year)

4) QB (Meager and Phillips will improve, but the more talent in there the better)

5) DB (Hard hitter at safety, athletic DBs in case the ones we have don't pan out)

If all these areas are addressed, I see no reason why we can't go 10-1 next year. If we start next season no better off than we do now, I could see anywhere from 6-5 to 3-8.

Thank you! If I had a penny for every time I saw Harmon give up on the DE, Id be rich!

The only TE I saw exceed last season was Charley Brown. Say hello to the new Andy Blount.

If you want to talk about blocking and why the offense never got on track you can't leave out Chad Rose. We went from 8 at center to a 1 and possibly up to a 4 on his best days. No only for run blocking, but for pass protection. I have no doubt this kid will be good (he improved all season) but this year he just plain sucked.

It doesn't matter if we ran the table in conference and beat a ranked team in the NO Bowl.  A loss to SMU would and should mean DDs head.

The SMU game is all but a one-game season.
