Actually, they had to re-inter them after they completed "the Zone." Not saying all traditions at TAMU make sense. I think we can all agree on that one. But you have to admit... when your claim to fame is some horse's butt....

Why all the hatred toward SMU?

They had the death penalty some twenty years ago and have never been much of a threat since. Don't get me wrong I am no big Mustang fan other than the Ford version but I really don't hate or dislike any school in Texas. Maybe only Notre Dame comes close to hate but not really.
