Remember 2001...the Big 12 Championship at Texas Stadium. Colorado had lost earlier in the season to Texas, 41-7, yet beat the Longhorns that dismal day.

This season, Texas blows by Colorado 42-17, and guess what, Colorado is, again the home team in Saturday's Big 12 Championship in Reliant Stadium.

Different this time, you say. Hopefully. Texas is better, but Colorado was no world beaters during the 2001 season either. They won, despite being huge underdogs.

They are 27 point dogs this time. Texas has to win.

Will they? Will Vince Young have an off-day, or will he be the hero in this game and propel Mack Brown to his first conference championship in his 22 years as head coach.

Stay tuned. Kicks off at noon Saturday!

could they put 100 on us? not likely, but tacking 75+ on the scoreboard next season against may not be out of reach. sad.gif

Maybe not. I think Mack Brown likes DD. The second or third string players should be in by the start of the second half.
