Idaho? how about the spareness of NMSU? What an abortion of a season.

Glad to see they are enjoying the same success they enjoyed in the Belt.

Hey, I want to congratulate all of them equally. They are all winners in my book - I just harbor a weird resentment of Idaho for making me watch a game in 2001 in that oversized garage of a stadium.

That thing was a disaster, I agree. I watched it at RBar, and I thought they were playing in an airplane hanger.

It just makes me laugh thinking back 2004 at the NMSU game.

A friend of mine casully expresses his opinions of NMSU by yelling in his best drunken slur, "New Mexico State sucks", outside the satdium. Poor fella, the 3 hours of tailgating had gotten to him. Anyways the afflicted NMSU fan turns around and says, "Yeah well we may suck be we are going to the WAC, have fun in the Sun Belt losers!"

Ahhh, I wonder what he is up to now... (fades into dream sequence)

I love those interaction with fans - I remember going to the game before the NMSU game where some of their fans came to "scout us" as they put it. They started cheering every time the upcoming NMSU game was mentioned. We started chanting "Utah State" (who had just upset them) anytime they cheered. They got pissed and stormed off early.

      Proof that it's not always the amount of money you spend. This gent is the ULM Def. Coordinator. His first year being a college DC. I would bet money that the DC at UNC makes at least $1 million. I'd also bet that every defensive position coach on Mack Brown's staff makes more than Earnest Hill does at ULM. Well, Mr. Hill and his staff shut down James Madison....a team that had scored 60+ points two games in a row. And put 70 on that UNC staff.       How’s That Feel?

      Who's really hating on him though? Whatever his reason for leaving is irrelevant to me. He's no longer on the team and I don't necessarily care for Cal though I'd have preferred they beat Miami. I don't want him to struggle, just indifferent. Did he ball out at times? Sure, in the second half of games. I think he was overall overrated otherwise. He dug us in holes against every decent opponent but he was fun to watch during those failed comeback attempts. He also fumbled far too often and it seemed like a couple throws were batted down ever single game. Still fun to watch. I think we upgraded but it's still too early to tell.
