Dickey has had 8 years to make us at least show up to play against the likes of LSU and UT, for christ sake's AT LEAST Tulsa and a weak KSU team. We were also Div 1-A for 3 years before he arrived. He didn't exactly bring an Ivy league school out of I-AA.

I understand the frustration with the season, we are all frustrated. Dickey did make us show up to play against Texas and OU a few years ago, we got a win out of Baylor, should have beat Arizona, Air Force, Memphis, beat Cincy. I honestly think he knows what he has to do to get us to that point. I admit, sometimes I wish he were a little more ambitious with trying to sell the program, but, we all should be. He gets paid to coach, not to be a 1 man marketing team. You think he likes to not have a bonus for winning the conference at the end of the year?

Considering what DD has done the last 4 years (bowl bids, conference championships), I am not ready to punt him outa here. The previous 4 years are the most sucess NT has had in over half a century.

The last bowl game NT went to before Dickey was in 1959. Then we go to 4 straight. One bad year after 40 years of mediocrity and everyone is ready for a new coach? I fail to see the logic.

NT has one bad season and everyone is ready to ride him out on a rail. Give him a year or two and see what he can make of this. If after that time NT is still 2-9 or 2-10, I'll even provide the RAIL and ties (someone else can bring the tar and feathers).

As for DD not wanting to be here...I am still waiting for someone to ask the AD for permission to interview Dickey. If Darrell doesn't want to be here, I would think he would put his name in the hat for another job. Then that school has to ask permission (contract thing you know). Either he is not looking at another job or no one is interested in talking to him (and I seriously doubt KSU or anyone else looking around are not interested in DD).

Nothing new DD has never had control! Discipline has always been a problem.

I know ignore that, DD has 3 SBC titles and 1 co-title, oh wait those had bowls attached to them must mean something.

Too Bad the rest of the world thinks the SBC is a complete joke still and consider being SBC Champion a dubious honor. But boy oh boy we can sure talk it up though.
