Patrick Cobbs 180-yard performance against Arkansas State moves him into very select group of collegiate football players. His career total of 4,050 makes him the 69th player in the history of college football.

He ends his career as the North Texas and the Sun Belt Conference’s all-time leading rusher. He is only the second Mean Green running back ever to rush for more than 1,000 yards in more than one season. He eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the season on a 26-yard first quarter run.

Patrick deserved a better senior season, than he had. He is up there with Joe Greene & Steve Ramsey as far as being a legend in North Texas Football. It's time to retire NUMBER 43.
