Matt Phillips. He looked good, the WR's were shaky tonight, but he looked better than DM. He sat in the pocket, read the coverage, made the pass.

BTW- #49, Jackson- he WILL be great.

Phillips, even a blind man could figure that one out. Maybe its just me, but when Phillips is in the game the entire offense just seems to step it up a notch.

Phillips is 10 times the QB Meager is. His passes are crisper and he does his best not to take a sack (makes smart throw away passes. He is better at managing the game. The only down side I see is he may not be as mobile, but that is one negative in a sea of positives. Given the proper playing time and a chance to get the experience before next year this kid could be the QB to take us to the next level.

*side note to DARRELL DICKEY* Practice the slant pass!!!!! and tell Nwigwe and Jackson to stop trying to catch a slant pass with their chest and use their hands then pull it in.

Yep, Phillips...give May Day an offseason to get better and come back and fight for the starting spot next year...

on a side note Henderson should be playing more, he is a serious stud and creates holes by himself...

MP didn't look so hot vs. ASU. Poor guy got nailed more than his share of times back there because he couldn't get any protection.

Here's to both getting a lot better and to DD possibly finding a JC QB in the meantime.
