I am all for having TMFD on staff, but don't start him out any higher than RB coach.  Strength, recruiting, all is OK, but I wouldn't vault someone straight into an OC position just because they played in the League.

I hope nobody would seriously consider him for OC at this juncture. I think he's a no-brainer for an RB coach here, though.

Where has he applied? Who has he been repeatedly rejected by?

I'm not aware of Joe Greene applying for any college coaching positions. I seem to remember reading in the newspaper at the time that Bob Tyler was let go and/or fired, that University officials had contacted Joe Greene about the head coaching job and he politely declined.

You have to have at least a Bachelor's degree to coach at the college level. Many coaches do not have a masters. In reviewing the press guide for 2002, I noticed that only about half of the North Texas coaching staff have Masters degrees. Dickey was not one of them.

So, if Eric Pegram has his Bachelors degree, then he is able to coach at the college level.

I'm still a bit skeptical however. Being a personal trainer doesn't mean you would be a great, or even good coach.
