DD has never been called on anything he says, so I think he keeps the pot stirred since he knows everyone appears to be so frightened to call him on this crap.

Of course the above comment can not be any worse then him calling FIU a taleneted Footbal team.

What else is any coach going to say? Saying they are anything less than a talented football team just gives them bulletin board material for next year.

And it makes whom ever says it look like a jerk!

OR, you could make no mention of their talent level, especially if all you're going to do is lie about it in order to use it as an excuse.

Did anyone see Fresno St. coach Pat Hill interviewed during the Toledo vs NIU game tonight about his upcoming game against Southern Cal? He gave the Trojans the usual props, but at the same time was excited about the opportunity to take his team up against the best in the land. He stated: "A lot of people think we have nothing to lose in this game, but that isn't true at all. We DO have a lot to lose in this game and we want to take advantage of the opportunity to show everyone what we can do against a high caliber team like USC".

That makes me as a college football fan want to watch just to see what he has planned for USC if nothing else?

Fresno State's Coach Pat Hill is an inspirational guy who believes his team always has a chance to win. He lets it be known that they will play "anyone anywhere." Maybe that has something to do with the 40,000 plus fans they have at home games.

People like a winning attitude, even if the "attitude" comes first before the winning! Our coach should try it someday.
