With the guy who was supposed to start at QB being dead, the backup not qualifying academically, and the 3rd stringer being gimpy and ineffective I guess we are pretty lucky he seems to have something...

I wouldn't downplay the talents Phillips has and what he accomplished at Lakeview. The guy played in a very advanced offense.

Details. Anyways, I like Matt for next week. You don't just come in and rack up 17 points and not have something to prove. I mean, if he plays with that kind of urgency, maybe he's what the team needs. I like DM's speed, but I don't like how he lobs the ball for grabs.

Looks like DD should've extended the QB tryout process this summer.

Yeah I have to say Ive seen no potential in Daniel, hell if any of us threw a couple of blind bombs one of them would hit the mark. No one here can say that Matt didnt have a phenomenal game coming in as a TRUE FRESHMAN (hint hint, also unexperienced) But I hate to bust all yalls bubbles but matt will not start the rest of the season. for some reason or another DD loves Meager... Yes DD needs to go. Isnt there a petition or something started we can sign?
