11 minutes left in the first half.

North Texas is starting to show some signs of life as the shots are now at 6-4 SMU.

Another " crater" job to the metroplex privates. Any time, any where, any sport, UNT makes SMU/ TCU look like ALL AMERICANS-- I hope in my lifetime we somehow learn to compete to win against them, but it is highly doubtful. We are content to be the " best of the worst--SBC" and not one bit more.Oh for the Hayden Fry/ Bill Blakeley days when we played all sports as if we were anyone's equal. Until we learn that these privates are just other mid majors we will continue to be in awe of them anytime we compete. Oh how I dread September 9th, 2006 when IMHO we meet the overall lowest point in North Texas athletics!!! mad.gif

Dallas, despite any other potential areas of disagreement that might be between us, I am 100% in agreement with you on that one. People just don't know how much different the "attitude" was when those coaches were here.

Hell, even an over-worked and underpayed Corkey Nelson found a way to beat SMU, TCU, RICE, and TT. Even with 20 fewer "ships".
