UNT: Triple threat returns

Isaac Hines last season became the first player to lead North Texas in assists, steals and rebounds in the same campaign.

Hines' performance on the glass was surprising considering he is a 6-0, 175-pound point guard. The former Collin County Community College standout finished with 178 rebounds. Michael Jones, a 6-7 forward who completed his career last season, was second on the team with 144 rebounds.

There wasn't much meat in that spread in the DMN.

Seemed to be all about SMU and TCU.

Except for Barnet, we have no bangers. Small ball is cool to watch but it takes a big front line to go all the way.

Speaking of which, our O-Line and D-Line could use some beef...we're playing small ball in football too. sad.gif
