talked with FFR...he was not ejected from the game. someone handed him a bag of totallios (sp?) security guard saw it, told he to get rid of it. He did...gave to others. The security guard came back and asked hat happed to the chips...was told I got rid of them,

Security guard called the police who took Rick into the tunnel and asked what happened. Rick explained, the cop said it was not against the law or rule to have chips but if there were thrown on the field you would be ejected.

the crowd almost had a riot when Rick was escorted from the seats leaving his young son .....

Everythings cool.

Good job FFR! Keep the spirit going! Sorry I didn't get there until mid-third quarter or I would of been glad to participate in the mild chaos!

The chant "FREE RICK" got really loud and was most definitely the loudest chant in or around our section. Man that just shows how beloved Rick is by the UNT Fan base. smile.gif

Sorry Rick sad.gif

It was me ph34r.gif

I had just given him a large unopened bag, which was still unopened when he got accused of throwing the tortillas on to the field by the event staff general that ran around on the track.

By the way no-one in our section just above Rick were even bothered the slightest by the staff seems that Rick was being singled out by the event staff guy on the Track with the headset.

After all that went down, Mr Muscle with the head set, would not stop giving our group the evil eye any time tortillas were thrown. Makes me want to bring in more tortillas next game. I dont see what the big problem is, I know some people hate it, and other love it, but its not a problem in my eyes, till it goes onto the field.

You would have to have some arm to get one to the playing field, sideline yes, but not the playing field, that would take a 40 yard fling from section E.

BTW: why are the Event-Bouncers on such a rampage about things this season?

There was no issue with the tortillas tonight except in "Mr Muscles" mind, and I think it has more to do with he has a thing against Rick. He has messed with Rick before.

yeah I know, thats why it shouldnt be a problem. When we get a new stadium and if its a problem, fine - till then throw them!!!

We also had the yellow nazi's giving our section on the student side some hell. The cop escorted a guy out that was about to go apesh-t so I can see why he got tossed, but I also think he was wrongly accused of being the thrower.

This was unfreakingbelievable. Im sure I will post more about this when Rick does. The stadium nazis handled the situation the wrong way. Even IF Rick did throw them, there is a proper way to handle the situation and that is not it. I think the guy that was talking with Rick was wrongfully thrown in the middle of everything, but he could have gone about it better.

And it was not mild chaos, a near Paris-like situation is a more accurrate description. the 3 middle sections were FURIOUS with the event staff. I think Mr Muscles just has it out against Rick, and the group I am in, which is the same group as ladygreen. I was yelling at him, but was not using obcenities, obscene gestures, nor did I make and verbal threats, or show any intent to arm. Yet, steriod boy asks if I want to be next. I ask for what, but of course he could not answer. That steriod loaded POS needs to unclench is ass and take a hike. We definetly traded glares throughout the second half.

I do want to point something out to everyone, even though I know some will take it as I have an ego. The people in the yellow shirts ARE NOT SECURITY. They have no formal training, nor do they hold any licensing from the State of Texas Private Security Board. Even though I don't plan on doing it for long, I am proud of what I do now, which IS security, for the courthouse. I do have formal training and I take my job very seriosuly. Its aholes like Mr Muscles that give real security officers a bad name. They have a false sense of empowerment, and believe that they hold the same powers of a peace officer. REAL security do not, as they understand their job is to assist peace officers, and they understand their powers and limitations within the law.

I'm sorry to go off on the subject, it just bugs me. But the yellow shirts ARE NOT SECURITY!!!!
