Hear me out folks...I think Margie needs a vacation. She's the one who still thinks college football is either 7-9 innings. Anyway, she came down the hall to my office and said, "Honey, I have this great idea. Why don't they put huge wind fans at each end of Fouts Field and then wire the playing field so that when whomever NT is playing, the field will tilt so they will have to run their plays uphill, and the wind fans at that particular end of the stadium will be blowing in their faces...but when the Mean Green gets the ball...the field will tilt downward and the wind will be to their backs. What do you think, Spears."

I looked at her, and said, "Darling Margie...I love you, but let's leave the playing strategy to other folks on Go.MeanGreen.Com."

It's time for both our medicine, so goodnight! Good Grief!

While I don't doubt the efficacy of this type of field, I'm afraid you have been beaten to it. Above is the very sad final picture of #82 ("Hapless Harry Hapland") as he attempted to retun a punt in the 1987 Apple Bowl. His body was never found....
