Should we add Texas State to the AAC?
Dont worry about the old Pac12, worry about the new one. Just look at who they are adding: Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Utah State, and Gonzaga in basketball. I'm a little surprised they did not get UNLV (yet), but thats still a good athletic conference, and if they poach Memphis then why stay in the AAC? -

Based on the last financial statement available (issued 1/05/2024 - waiting for the next on), we spent $8,432,941 on AD/Staff compensation, benefits and bonuses and another $4,083,277 on Direct Overhead and "Administrative Expenses." The AD spent $908,610 on Fund Raising, Marketing and Promotion. That's across all athletic programs. It's all about priorities. -

blowing out a Q3 team should not matter that much, the predicted metrics had us winning by over 10 anyway. For a top 75 school to move up 10 spots at this point in the season usually takes something significant. Usually other schools need to drop down (Dayton did), also McNeese and has been looking good lately, that could also help. -

Agree with this. Denton has never embraced UNT as "it's" school to support with the town.- 1
