I didnt get to make the La Tech game because I got called in to work a boring post Saturday. I really want to keep my streak of going to at least 1 road game/ year alive. Is there anyone that wants to go, and probably turn around and head back? Honestly, I need a travel partner.

Haha!! NO!!! I wouldn't go inside Tiger Stadium even if I had a bullet proof vest and a gallon of everclear. It's not that I don't want to go on a road trip one time without being in the band and it's not that I don't love the Mean Green. But damn, I am not setting foot near Tiger Stadium.

I'll drink that gallon of everclear from the comforts of my room. Now, where's that gallon???? blink.gif

Made the last trip to BAT-on RUDE. No thanks on a return trip the the "visitor-abuse" capital of the south. I still cant believe someone actually threw a shoe? They didnt come over to claim it, so at least one drunk went home barefoot or hopping? Security guards thought that was funny... we didnt. But it was original.

Be careful over there if you go. Oh, and Rudy... take two Valium before you get out of your car Bro.

If you like to harm yourself, why don't you just take a blow torch to your leg? It's cheaper.

LSU 74, NT 3

Or at least go disguised as a Tiger fan.

I'm going. I have always, and will always support this team 100% even when up against astronomical odds in extremely hostile environments. The decision to go is much more out of respect for this program than any entertainment value that could posibly come from this contest.

I will not be alone in this endeavor. There will be many other faithful supporters that have gone for exactly the same reasons. They aren't on the payroll, and they're not there to cheer for their child. They'll be there for the same convictions , to support this team even when it isn't easy or convenient.

We will be there at the end still cheering for this team no matter the final score. Sure it would be easier to hang our heads, turn our backs, and exit the stadium before games end to beat the crowds out to the parling lots, but what's easiest is not always the right thing to do.

Supporting this team even through adversity this may not be our responsibility, but we have chosen to make it our duty.

These fans have certainly earned my respect, and I hope that those that they came to support share my sentiments.
