It IS time to quit our moanin' about how pitiful our offense is and get behind The Mean Green. I have been critical of our play calling, coaching, etc. But, I will always believe in The Mean Green. I believe the players want to win this game! We must cut down on penalties and force several turnovers, make some interceptions, and Daniel Meager will hook up with Johnny Quinn, and we'll win this game impressively. So let's all go that possibly can. Texas Tech does not need our help in their game vs Texas. We can read about that matchup in Sunday's paper. And for those who cannot wait to find out how badly Tulsa beats up the SMoos, get a grip!!!!! GO! MEAN GREEN!

      "Where Are The Fans?"

      Haven’t seen this mentioned, but once again…… We started the season out pretty well. Got some local and national attention, to the point we were a trendy pick. “Tech better watch out!” Reece Davis on ESPN Game Day picked us as his “superdog”. We were starting to turn a corner regarding perception. And not only do we get beat, we got absolutely destroyed on national TV. Outclassed, out coached, out played and embarrassed. We were taking a few steps forward only to get hit in the face ONCE AGAIN and get launched back to what many think is our rightful place. How many people paying attention to our game vs TTech didn’t even bother to look at the schedule to see our next games much less make plans to show up. This probably happened about halfway through the 2nd quarter of that game. We are in a situation where we have no room for error. When you’re in this situation, no amount of marketing can overcome getting embarrassed like we were in Lubbock. We had our chance. Blew it.

      Yes, please. Why do we always relegate UNT to thinking we just have to go after someone else’s failure? We need to find a Lance Leipold, in my opinion. Find a proven winner at a lower level.
