The White Sox, who last won the World Series in 1917, are heading to the Fall Classic for the first time since 1959 after winning the American League pennant Sunday with a 6-3 victory over the Angels in Game 5 of the ALCS and setting off a wild South Side celebration. Joe Crede's single broke a tie in the eighth with his third RBI to back Jose Contreras' complete game. Paul Konerko was named ALCS MVP.
