I think the right photographs are the key to any blackmail scheme, even in this digital photoshopped era. I think something involving donkeys...doing things. I'm now wonderding if Quoner will pull some ellipsis rule on me.

Oh, and I voted $80 million. Although I think it will be more; I think it will be closer to that than the $100 million. For North Texas, $100 million starts sounding like big money; we'd figure out a way to delay some press box improvements or something like that. Phasing could be the key, maybe like the Wake Forest University Football model.

There is a scale mockup of the Stadium sitting in the athletic center along with large conceptional pictures. The preliminary stuff looks top notch with the stadium extending east from the current Athletic center towards 35. Players would exit locker room and enter stadium through end zone much like A&M. I'm sure they are working the visable alums but sure wish they would start sending out information and requests for donations. Even though the economy is in the tank, they can never start too soon!! This stadium deal needs to get off the ground now not in a year or two, NOW!

I would like to see an expandable stadium that starts out seating 30K, and nice expandable press box w/ just a few suites to begin with. Using Plumm's number, I do not know where you would find 20 companies or individuals willing to spend 25K per year to watch Sunbelt Football. If we were in Conf USA, and also hosted lets say a Tech or KState on as an ooc, then I might could see it. But as it stands now, we are really reaching to think there are that many money people wanting to attend UNT football that aren't now. Yes, I want a first class stadium, but until the product on the field improves in the eyes of the casual fan (NOT PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD) we will have a big nice stadium that is half empty or more like SMU.
