I have serious doubts about that rumor, but will wait to see what the PAC numbers look like. $10M a year becomes a reality, then maybe we see if those rumors about wealthy donors comes true. It also doesn't take into account if the AAC will counter offer to keep us, ESPN might be willing to offer a full share now if they want to keep us or whoever else in the AAC from leaving. -

Softball Adjusts Schedule for UTSA Series
I'm gonna plan to go Sunday. Hopefully my 2.5-year-old son will allow us to stay for both. This needs to be another sweep. It would be nice to sneak into the second spot so one of the Florida schools has to win twice in the conference tournament before potentially playing us. Interestingly, South Florida and Wichita State tied last weekend at 7-7 because USF could not play any later than 3:10 for travel purposes. South Florida plays at #23 FAU this weekend. If the Bulls lose at least two of three there and we take care of business against UTSA, we would move up to Number 2. We will host South Florida in the last home series of the season. -

Atin's game translated from CASt-Northridge to Drake, then again to here. But yeah, he'd have to actually enter the portal first. I agree, the upside of a Conference Freshman of the Year is more enticing overall, but Staveskie showed he can get buckets at Canisius and CSU. I'm all for giving him a shot to do the same here.
