Interesting... Stealing lame traditions

Here is a countdown of the greatest college football traditions. I'll give you two guesses what lame one didn't make it.

Oh yea, and tearing down the goalposts year after year didn't make it either!!

Yeah, and if your not in the BCS why do you even play football?

It isn't a list of the greatest traditions, it is of the most unique, and since the tortilla thing is done all the time in different forms, there is no way it would make the list. I am neutral on the tortilla tossing, so I don't have a dog in this fight, but that list doesn't make your point.

I couldn't agree with you more SouthBend. I've heard the whole story about how it started, and it does seem pretty weak to take it from another school. I'm sure it was fun at the Tech game...hell if I would have been there I would have been throwing them back at the Tech hechlers too, but to continue it seems a little much. Plus, I'm not a big fan of getting pelted in the head by those damn things, especially when we're getting beat 54-2. Unforyunately we're in the minority, and I know I'm risking major feedback from this. But everyone is entitled to their opinion...

Oh I've been getting crap for my opinion on this subject from day one and I don't care. I'll continue to call it like I see it. It is nice to see someone who finally does agree with me though. That being said, I don't mind someone disagreeing with me, but to be called lame ass because of a dumb "tradition", I think is out of line.

The Aggie 12th man tradition is a great tradition, but the kissing after touchdowns should have atleast gotten a mention. Honestly is there a better tradition than that?

Ok, ok. I'll bring salsa on Tuesday. Now all we need is Fajita meat, cheese, sour cream, guac, and refried beans. IF we score, let's all just start throwing our designated item and we'll all get delicious DD Fajitas.
