Hello North Texas Alumni living around sunny LA!!

I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to fill out and return the questionnaire I sent to you a few months ago. Living in a 40 mile radius of LA, UNT has approximately 1100 alumni!! And that's counting only the ones we know about or the ones who have kept the University informed of their current address.

In our efforts to re-organize an alumni group in California, there will be a football watching party on Tuesday, October 4. So come mix, mingle, and meet with other UNT alumni at:

Directions: If you are on PCH (Sepulveda) go west on Pier Avenue until it dead-ends into the pier. There is street parking and garage parking located around the pier. Hennessey's is the last bar on the left before you reach the beach.

Kick-off time is 4:30 p.m. (PST) which will make it very difficult for anyone to show up before half-time. However, I guarantee there will be UNT alumni at Hennessey's cheering on the Mean Green. So don't feel like you're going to be the only one there or getting there too late... you'll have a great time no matter how many minutes are left on the clock when you arrive!! This game is nationally televised and is a home game; thereby, putting Fouts Field on national television for the very first time!

Show your mean green pride by wearing GREEN... wear it to work so you're ready for the game, bring your favorite NT shirt and change at work - change in the car - change at Hennessey's... just don't change on the bus and don't show up without it.
