I am so very thrilled about all the attention to my comment about a duck being a better coach than....oh, well.

As a matter of fact, I actually think we will win the Troy game. It is amazing how TV and Hayden Fry being honored at halftime, plus it's a SunBelt game...all add up to a victory October 4th. Plus, we don't lose conference games, right?

So, I think we should consider OOC games as pre-season warm-up to more serious challenges in beating the dregs of D-1A football. We get to go to another bowl game and get our heads handed to us (Colorado State, Memphis and Southern Miss). Of course we won the Cincy game, intercepting their QB 5 times.

So, I'll bring my duck and hope for the best. I love North Texas, and if I wasn't so stupid, I'd understand mediocrity. I never could believe we'd get mauled at home, 54-2. That, my friends, was a wake up call. That's all I'll say!
