Has anyone watched a preseason game yet?

I have been busy but I have heard mixed reviews from from faster best NHL Hockey ever to way too many penalties for obstruction, defense can't play.

There has been lots of calls, but it will be interesting to see if they keep calling it that way or if once the season starts how the games will be called.

I been thinking what you were saying, maybe there is a happy middle ground, and the officials were over enforcing to reach the level the NHL truly wants to be called at.

Have you seen a game? If so did you like it so far?

I have watched a few games, lots of PP's (duh), but the game is shifting from the big, strong, physical player, to the speedsters and quick hitters. I'm not sold on the shoot-out yet, but I prefer the traditional style.

The officials probably have been calling everything just to try to get the players to understand the new rules. They will probably find a middle ground on the rules.

I just want to see hockey again.

I am with you!

I am glad to see they are favoring the quick, I like the game is faster.

I can't wait till the season starts, and hockey moves back in to my sports watching rotation.

anybody going to the stars game on wednesday? it'll be my first pro hockey game to attend... i can't wait! i used to have season tickets to the texas tornados (pre-frisco), and miss my hockey

I am upset that the Bruin's don't come here this year, but I'll get to see a few games on OLN this year when they play Montreal.

Yeah, can't say that I'm a Kings fan or anything - but I'll prolly catch a game this year. And I'll, definitely be watching on OLN.

I don't watch much hockey really so every year I have a new favorite team. I think this year I'll go with Phoenix. Coyotes are pretty cool, and so is their merchandise.

Holy Sh*t I can't believe its Hockey Eve, this is taking longer than Christmas when I was a kid. I should be happy that the Troy game and opening night are not one in the same.

With a little luck I will be at the opening night game!!!!
