I think there are some serious questions that must be answered. I am very curious if Dickey has any plan WHAT-SO-EVER to change the current game plan of using the run to set up the pass, where it seems every team now has found the silver bullet to shut us down offensively.

Hank Dickenson is the host of the Coach's Show on Monday nights and his email is dickenson@unt.edu.

I think it is very important that it be stressed that Dickey must make changes. Email Hank and encourage him to press the issue on Dickey, BUT(!!!) be cordial, be logical, and try to be supportive. Express concern, not hostility. It's OK to not be happy about the back-to-back blowouts, but don't take it out on Hank.

Right now, I see this as the best and most efficient method the apply pressure to improve performance and let key people know that we, the fans, are not impressed with the product on the field.

Come on. The game plan (yes, singular, "the" game plan) and the 15 or so plays in it was created seven years ago. It's not something that changes with personnel or opponent. Why should it? That's a lot of work.

I would like to think that e-mails could get that done, but Hank is an employee of the Athletic Dept. and I don't think he is going to go into the show drilling Darrell Dickey. Now if it was an outside, third-party radio host, then it would be possible to see. More than likely you'll have to show up to the show and see if they do a audience Q&A segment to actually get the questions asked, otherwise don't hold your breath.

Shows what you know, JubJub is the host of that show. hank just filled in for him last week because George had to call the Dallas Cowboys game Monday night.

Why don't you guys go and ask him yourself? I've never known Coach Dickey to shirk away from a question when anyone asks him in person. Go ahead, attend the show, and ask him questions. It might not make it on the air, but, as Adler says, he'll give you an answer.

I'm not going to sit here and read about a change in that game plan. There is no problem with this "game plan". You do things two ways in football: you either run to set up the pass, or you pass to set up the run; both work when you have lines that take care of business in the trenches and a QB that can stretch the field.

Isnt' THAT the problem? If Dickey figures out how to beat people in the trenches and then wave the magic wand that gives Meager an arm, suddenly his game plan will be fine.

Smartest post I've read in a while. There's no getting rid of Dickey. We should all come to this conclusion. We can't ask for his head, but we can ask for an improved team and improved gameplan.

DD HAS to answer our questions this week. There is no more beating around the bush. We have been outscored 108-9 the past two weeks. I don't care if we were playing UT and OU in back to back weeks. We have to be able to be competitive in OOC games. We may not win depending on who we play but we should be able to be competitive which we aren't.

It's time we face the music......
