Ok, ok, ok...now I've got it....says right here in ESPN Coaching Guide:

It is never wise to try to win out of conference games because that just gives players the wrong attitude. Makes them think they can run through a door, or some similar object. It is never a plan to be competitive, either, because that will take away valuable prep time for SunBelch conference games. It must also be noted that any resemblence between a well coached and prepared team and the ones who broke into the New Athletic Center at The University of North Texas, and stole all the uniforms and headgear and shoes and shoulder pads, are really UTA trying to field a football team again. Bad try, Mavericks...now please...give us back Patrick Cobbs and Jamario Thomas and our ofensive line, our defense...you get the idea. The jig is up!!!!

his simple offense makes me laugh. I could have sworn I saw him on the sidelines of the Washington Dallas game last monday night when they ran a draw up the middle on 3rd and 15.

His offense reminds me of Jim Bateman's at Denton High years ago.
