One of defense’s highlights came in the form of linebacker Brad Kassell’s first career interception that he returned 21 yards for a touchdown to give the Titans a comfortable 23-3 lead in the fourth quarter.

“Sometimes you’ve got to light a fire under people’s butts,” said Kassell, who received an escort into the end zone from defensive tackle Randy Starks and linebacker Keith Bulluck. “Sometimes that takes getting your butt whooped. We never want to have a performance like that again. The coaches were preaching emotion this week. As you saw this week, we ran around and people made plays. I think we just came out flat last week. As you know, football is an emotional game and you’ve got to play with some emotion.” We showed a lot of good things, but we still have a little ways to go,” Kassell said. “The season is a progression where you’ve got to get better and better. We took a good step forward today after taking a step backwards against Pittsburgh. We have to keep preparing every week like we did this week and play with emotion, and I think we’ll get a lot better throughout the year.”

Saw the highlight the day of the game on I believe CBS. I was watching some other game and they broke in with in-game highlights of other games. I was watching the play and I said, "hey that's the titans.." Then I saw the interception and I said- "what number is that? HOLY SH!T THAT'S 55 - IT'S BRAD!!! " I yelled out to my wife and rewound it on Tivo a couple times in disbelief.

Amazing play, reminded me of the one he took back for a score vs. Texas Tech. Same area of the field, around to 10 yard line.
